So, I just (accidentally) started reading The Passage after I picked it up at my Mum's house over Xmas and got hooked. I've found it fairly unputdownable so far (despite the constant head jumping) The writing is really good and it reminds me a bit of The Stand, which is one of my all time fave's. And along those lines its also 879 pages long!! I never read books with this kind of page count anymore, who has the time for this sort of commitment? I guess my book count for January is going to remain at 1 this year.
